Spiced Avocado Toast


Living in Southern California it’s hard not to have tried Avocado Toast. There are hundreds of varieties out there, well here’s ours 🙂 I remember the first time I tried  Avocado Toast 10 years ago or so, I just loved the crunchy toast and the soft avocado on top lightly flavored. As much as I loved it I also hated how simple it was to prepare. Whatever it may be, Avocados are here to stay and waiting be munched on!

Here is our simple recipe with a little twist to give it Indian flavor.

Spiced Avocado Toast

Serves 1


2 piece toast, either toasted in toaster

1/2 avocado, thinly sliced

¼ chopped red onion to taste

Chaat masala, spice mix can be bought be at any Indian grocery strore

sea salt

olive oil

(optional) add a pinch of bhel puri mix, can be bought at an Indian grocery store.


Place sliced avocado and chopped onion on top of toast. Sprinkle with chaat masala . Top with a pinch of sea salt. Finish with a drizzle olive oil. Viola!
